* Coordinating and monitoring the plans and projects handed to you by the programme lead for the site adaptation.
* Running the review meetings, inside the organisation and out, and putting progress in front of the leadership.
* Leading the change management initiative alongside the Transition Manager at each site.
* Preparing and coordinating the infrastructure implementation plans behind each delivery.
* Driving the Site Master Development Plan and the O&M support framework in consultationwith the Host Nation and in-house specialists.
* Working with the Host Nation so the new buildings and services land aligned to theorganisation's requirements. WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
* A university-level qualification in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical (High Voltage)engineering — or equivalent education plus solid professional experience.
* At least 10 years as a senior project manager on large office redevelopment work, on the client's side of the table, inside a multinational body or a government department — civil or military.
* Strong grounding in planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, and in recognisedprogramme and project management methods.
* A good working understanding of procurement, including negotiating with third parties.
* Budgeting and resource allocation, and programme management at major-unit or executivelevel.
* Excellent written and spoken English — succinct staff papers, presentations andcorrespondence that senior readers act on.
* The persuasion and negotiating skills to secure buy-in, and the composure to producehigh-quality work to short-notice deadlines. PRACTICAL DETAIL
* Mons, Belgium — fully on site. Expect one to two days a week on temporaryduty in Brussels for an extended period.
* Mostly a normal office environment; during implementation you will spend time onconstruction sites, with the protective equipment and site rules that go with them.
* Contract runs 1 October to 30 December 2026.
* You must be a citizen of a NATO membercountry with the right to work in Belgium. If you have delivered buildings for the people who will actually use them, and you are ascomfortable in a review meeting as on a site walk, we would like to hear from you.
