About the Role
As a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in shaping our procurement strategy for over-the-counter (OTC) products and health and personal care products, and other pharmacy-related categories across the Belgian market. You will lead key supplier negotiations, optimize purchasing terms and conditions, and build long-term strategic partnerships with leading manufacturers and suppliers in the industry.

About your tasks:
• Develop and successfully implement strategic procurement strategies.
• Lead annual supplier negotiations and negotiate purchasing terms and conditions with manufacturers, focusing on key KPIs such as purchasing discounts, bonuses, and payment terms.
• Analyze and optimize key performance indicators, including margins, revenue development, supplier delivery performance, and sales dynamics.
• Identify opportunities to drive growth and improve margins across the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Retail Media, Category Management, and Demand & Supply teams to develop and implement joint initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong, sustainable, and long-term partnerships with manufacturers. Qualifications About
Your Profile
• A completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or a comparable commercial qualification.
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally within OTC, non-prescription healthcare, or FMCG (Health & Beauty) sectors.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with proven experience in negotiating prices and commercial terms with manufacturers.
• Excellent analytical skills and confidence in working with KPIs and reports, combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken. Additional Information About Your
