Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Head of Endpoint Services who is strategic, collaborative and user-focused to join our Digital Workplace Services team, based in our Braine l’Alleud office, in Belgium.
About the role
You will lead the strategy and delivery of digital workplace services that help UCB employees work securely, communicate and collaborate worldwide. Your scope includes employee devices, endpoint security, mobility, printing and advanced workplace computing. Combining technology leadership with a focus on user experience, you will ensure these services remain reliable, modern and cost-effective. You will lead the team, oversee budgets and suppliers, and drive improvements that respond to evolving business needs and emerging technologies. Who you’ll work with You will be working in a team that delivers and continuously improves digital workplace services for colleagues across the globe. You will collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders and senior leaders across Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific. You will also work closely with external service providers and project teams, aligning priorities and supporting the successful introduction of new workplace solutions. What you’ll do
• Define and deliver the global strategy for digital workplace, endpoint security and mobility services, balancing user needs, security, innovation and cost
• Work with our MSPs to deliver seamless end to end services and drive innovation
• Own service delivery and operational processes, driving continuous improvements in reliability, support and the employee experience
• Manage capital and operating budgets, secure project funding, and oversee supplier contracts and external resources
• Lead and develop your team, building the skills, collaboration and succession plans needed to support current and future priorities
• Oversee major workplace technology programs, coordinating delivery and change management to support adoption across the business
• Partner with stakeholders worldwide to understand business needs and translate them into practical workplace solutions and service improvements
• Serve as the infrastructure contact for the Bring the Trial to the Patient initiative, coordinating infrastructure-related activities and responsibilities Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
• At least 7 years of experience in technology management, preferably within technology infrastructure or business-facing technology services
• At least 5 years of experience in people management, with experience leading teams in technical support and development environments
• Experience working with MSPs and with vendor and service management
• Budget management experience, alongside supplier, contract and service management experience
• Experience managing endpoint infrastructure at a technical or leadership level, with practical knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and device management technologies
• Experience delivering technology upgrades, health checks and migrations, supported by strong project and program management skills
• Knowledge of structured service management and business change management practices, with relevant service or project management certification
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across cultures Are you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients? If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you
