IT Solution Manager

What will you do? As Senior Solution Manager
- Retail, Data, Mail & Parcel Products, you will shape and deliver the IT solutions that enable bpost to develop, offer and evolve products and services across these key business domains. Working closely with Business Directors and Product Teams, you will translate business ambitions into functional and technical roadmaps. You will identify how technology can enable new services, improve existing products and support the continued evolution of bpost's customer offering. Retail encompasses the solutions supporting our retail office network, while the Mail, Data and Parcel Product teams focus on developing and evolving bpost's product portfolio. Your responsibilities
• Define and drive the functional and technical roadmaps for Retail, Data, Mail and Parcel Products.
• Work closely with Business Directors and Product Teams to understand their ambitions and identify the IT solutions needed to achieve them.
• Translate business and product needs into scalable, sustainable and future-proof technology solutions.
• Lead the technical competences within the joint business and technology teams, bringing together architecture, solution design, applications, data and delivery.
• Challenge requirements and evaluate different solution options, balancing business value, technical feasibility, cost and long-term sustainability.
• Ensure alignment with the wider bpost technology landscape and manage dependencies with other domains and platforms.
• Drive delivery and ensure that agreed solutions translate into tangible business outcomes.
• Take accountability for the stability, performance and continuous improvement of the production environment across your domains.
• Act as a trusted senior technology partner to business and IT leadership.
• Lead, coach and develop the Feature Managers and Product Owners within your scope. Who are you?

Your profile
• You bring significant senior experience in solution management, IT leadership, technology delivery or a comparable role within a complex organisation.
• You have a strong track record of using technology to enable business products and services.
• You can translate business strategy and product ambitions into clear functional and technical roadmaps.
• You have a broad understanding of enterprise architecture, solution design, applications and data.
• You are comfortable leading multidisciplinary technology teams and coordinating delivery across multiple products and domains.
• You understand both transformation and operational IT, including the importance of stable and reliable production environments.
• You are an experienced partner for senior business stakeholders and are comfortable challenging, advising and influencing at leadership level.
• You have experience working in Agile and product-oriented environments.
• You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch or French, with a strong working knowledge of the other Belgian national language.
