Job Description
• Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
• Assign tables and follow up on reservations and special guest requests.
• Coordinate and supervise restaurant service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.
• Assigning tasks to the dining room staff and preparing the daily work schedule.
• Ensuring accurate, efficient, and attentive service in accordance with the hotel’s standards.
• Briefing and coaching waitstaff and other employees.
• Ensuring proper mise-en-place and overseeing the dining room, tables, buffet, and service.
• Collaborating with the kitchen and other F&B departments to ensure smooth service.
• Monitoring the quality of food, beverages, and service, and communicating with the kitchen as needed.
• Handling guest questions, comments, and complaints in a customer-focused and professional manner.
• Identify commercial opportunities, such as suggestions for dishes, wines, and other hotel services.
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, order, and cleanliness in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Check supplies, tableware, glassware, cutlery, and other essentials.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages or damage.
• Mentor and train new employees and interns.
• Place necessary orders.
• Serve as the point of contact for guests during service and act as a representative of the hotel.
• Oversee VIP guests, groups, business dinners, parties, and other special occasions. Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Ability to analyze customer needs and maintain a professional demeanor in all circumstances Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage conflicts Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment Ability to work as part of a team Additional Information Permanent contract with a mix of evening and weekend shifts.
