You will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the organization's AI governance framework. You will combine knowledge of the EU AI Act, AI Office guidance, and internal governance requirements with a practical understanding of AI and IT system development. You will work closely with AI developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure that AI solutions are compliant, responsible, and aligned with regulatory expectations. You will also contribute to the development of governance materials, training content, and management reporting while promoting a pragmatic approach to AI compliance.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and keep up to date the inventory of AI systems and their compliance status. Assess AI use cases and determine applicable regulatory obligations under the EU AI Act. Support the classification of AI systems according to AI Act risk categories. Review AI initiatives and provide practical guidance to development teams and business owners. Create and maintain templates, checklists, governance documentation, and guidance notes. Support the implementation of AI governance processes, controls, and monitoring activities. Coordinate documentation reviews, compliance assessments, and remediation actions. Monitor updates to AI regulations, AI Office guidance, and internal policies, ensuring governance materials remain current. Deliver presentations, awareness sessions, and training on AI governance requirements. Provide management reporting and promote responsible and compliant AI adoption. Technical

skills:
Good understanding of the EU AI Act and related regulatory frameworks. Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical guidance. Knowledge of AI systems, machine learning concepts, and software development lifecycles. Experience in governance, risk management, compliance, internal controls, or related disciplines. Ability to assess risks and recommend appropriate controls. Experience drafting policies, procedures, standards, and governance documentation. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience preparing and delivering presentations and training sessions. Programme or project management experience is considered an asset. Profile: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Background in compliance, governance, risk management, audit, legal, or technology environments. Alternatively, a technical profile with an interest in governance, regulation, and responsible AI. High-level understanding of IT systems development; hands-on development experience is not required. Ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical, business-oriented solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in English is required; French is a strong asset. Why Cronos Group?
