• Planning deliveries: writing up designs and change requests and steering them throughapproval with project managers, engineers and operational stakeholders
• Installing, configuring and testing network tapping and aggregation equipment
• Deploying and tuning vulnerability assessment, forensics and monitoring tools
- Tenable.
SC,Nessus, Fidelis and Splunk among them
• Applying and validating security settings on Cisco and Juniper kit and on Linux and Windowssystems
• Investigating faults and performance problems and putting improvements in place
• Running tests and acceptance, documenting what was built, and handing it over to operationswith guides, baselines and training
• Advising on security architecture, tool configuration and integration What you would bring
• At least five years of hands-on cyber security engineering
• Broad working knowledge of boundary protection: firewalls, IDS/IPS, traffic aggregation,data diodes, encryption, identity and access management
• Recent experience with Juniper, Palo Alto, web proxies, Splunk, Tenable.
SC, Nessus andFidelis
• Infrastructure design skills across routing, switching and VMware virtualisation
• A track record of delivering security capabilities into live operational environments -installation through to handover
• Excellent English, written and spoken, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent depth ofexperience
