About the Role
As Access & Pricing Strategy Team Lead, you will combine strategic asset leadership with people leadership. Acting as a member of the Global Access and Pricing Strategy Leadership Team, and a key partner to Asset Payer Heads, you will help translate payer evidence, policy, pricing, and market access insights into actionable strategic choices that inform critical business decisions throughout the asset lifecycle. This role sits at the heart of global access strategy, ensuring that payer perspectives are integrated early and consistently into development, evidence generation, pricing, and commercialization planning. In addition to leading strategy for designated asset indications, you will lead and develop a team of Access & Pricing Strategy Leads, strengthening capabilities, ways of working, and strategic excellence across the organization. Who You’ll Work With You will work closely with the Head of Global Access and Pricing Strategy, Asset Payer Heads, Patient Evidence, Patient Impact, HEOR, Real-World Evidence, Policy, Pricing, Commercial, Regional and Market Access teams, as well as a broad network of cross-functional stakeholders across the business. You will act as a connector between functions, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment on payer evidence generation, pricing strategy, reimbursement planning, and launch readiness. What You’ll Do
• Lead and develop a team of Access & Pricing Strategy Leads, providing coaching, capability building, and strategic guidance.
• Act as a strategic partner to Asset Payer Heads, developing global payer access and pricing strategy, and global deliverables.
• Lead payer strategy planning, evidence generation priorities, pricing strategy development, negotiation readiness activities and key global deliverables.
• Define and operationalize global access and pricing strategies for assigned indications across the asset lifecycle.
• Shape strategic options, risk assessments, and trade-off discussions to support governance and investment decisions.
• Ensure alignment between Patient Evidence and Patient Impact teams to drive integrated access strategies.
• Bring payer insights and recommendations into key decision-making forums and leadership discussions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across HEOR, RWE, policy, pricing, commercial, and regional access functions.
• Champion the use of advanced analytics, AI-enabled insights, and external market intelligence to strengthen payer planning.
• Drive access and pricing excellence through governance, best practices, scalable processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strengthen enterprise connectivity and create efficient ways of working that improve decision quality and organizational effectiveness. Interested? For this role we’re looking for:
• Degree in life sciences, health economics, public health, pharmacy, business, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in payer strategy, market access, pricing, health economics, commercial or related pharmaceutical functions.
• Proven experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and teams within global matrix organizations.
• Strong understanding of payer evidence requirements, reimbursement processes, pricing strategy, and access planning.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, capability development, and team management.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, influencing, and decision-making skills.
• Experience leveraging analytics, digital tools, and AI-enabled insights to support strategic planning.
