IT Functional Analyst

You analyse business processes, capture requirements, and translate business needs into functional solutions that support payment ecosystems and financial services transformation. Working closely with business and IT teams, you help ensure that solutions deliver measurable value while meeting operational, regulatory, and customer expectations. In this role you will play a key role in:
• Gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process analysis within banking and payments environments.
• Translating business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution requirements.
• Collaborating with developers, testers, architects, and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure successful implementation.
• Supporting solution design, validating requirements, and ensuring delivered functionality aligns with business objectives.
• Analysing payment processes including authorisation, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and related operational flows.
• Identifying opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement across business and IT systems.

Your profile
You are a curious and business-oriented professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication skills. You enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology and are passionate about delivering solutions that improve customer and operational outcomes within the banking and payments ecosystem.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional fluency in Dutch or French and English.
• Experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within banking, payments, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of payment processes, stakeholder management, requirements analysis, and Agile delivery methodologies. What you'll love about working here
