Key responsibilities
Are you passionate about equity markets? Are you into trading and keen to be part of a growing team that wants to win? Do you enjoy spreading your enthusiasm and sharing your knowledge with clients and those around you? We are looking for someone like you to:
- provide proactive advisory and execution service for our GWM clients, primarily in Cash Equity, Derivatives; experience in Fixed Income is a plus
- keep abreast of market developments and trading opportunities; have a strong understanding of financial markets, instruments and strategies
- maintain long term client relationships
- be part of the APT Team that provides seamless coverage to onboarded clients
- adhere to regulations and internal policies, including, but not limited to, quality of execution (examples: "best execution", "fair and reasonable"), pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance guidelines
- manage broad range of risks, including but not limited to trading risk, execution risk, operational risk, compliance risk, etc., evaluating options and making decisions Your Career Comeback We are open to applications from career returners. - university degree or other recognized qualification
- minimum 7 years' professional experience in Equity advisory/trading/execution (Cash & Derivatives OTC/Listed)
- outstanding relationship management capabilities with strong analytical, risk management, marketing, communication and interpersonal skills
- fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese to support the local client base
- IT

skills:
Microsoft
- Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel (Knowledge of Macro will be an advantage)
- qualifications or license(s) to perform the advisory & trading function as required, such as HKMA Type 1 & Type 4
