Department Overview:
Wisconsin Campus Marketing is responsible for identifying, sourcing and
activating external marketing sponsorship opportunities on the UW-Madison
campus. Working with a variety of agencies, local companies, non-profits and
national brands, Wisconsin Campus Marketing creates activations that are of
interest to the UW-Madison community, support the UW-Madison brand, and help
reach the sponsor’s business goals.

Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, you must be currently enrolled as a student at UW-Madison. Please submit a resume, cover letter, and three references as part of your application. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ideal candidates will have solid communication skills, a basic understanding of customer service, an orientation towards problem-solving and an enthusiasm for the UW brand. Some background in marketing, PR, journalism, business or other related fields is a plus, but not necessary. Position Summary/Job Duties: The Wisconsin Campus Marketing intern will be responsible for assisting with activations, communicating with both sponsors and campus partners, and ensuring a successful, mutually beneficial engagement for both UW-Madison and the external partner. Interns will contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies for a wide range of corporate partners, including digital and in-person placements, campus events, and custom promotional materials. Key duties: â€
¢ Serve as a liaison between corporate partners and campus leadership. â€
¢ Manage and track marketing deliverables for contract implementation. â€
¢ Assist with fulfillment of contracted assets for events, signage, print and digital. â€
¢ Support onsite activations through management of logistics and communications. â€
¢ Coordinate workflow once contracts are signed to deliver on partnership elements. â€
¢ Contribute towards the development of integrated marketing plans and strategies. â€
¢ Participate in joint business planning calls and meetings internally and externally. â€
¢ Secure proof of performance (pictures/metrics) for business reviews and analysis. â€
¢ Flexibility in supporting ad hoc projects and requests based on business needs. â€
¢ Build relationships within cross-functional teams to achieve institutional goals.
