• Coordinate technical discussions with vendors and stakeholders Requirements Years of Experience
• Ideally 8+ years of relevant experience
• The manager is open to candidates with fewer years if they demonstrate strong expertise in similar clinical or data platform implementations Must Have
• Strong Data Platform Architecture experience
• Strong Azure Cloud Architecture expertise
• Deep knowledge of:
• Databricks
• Unity Catalog
• Azure Data Services
• Data Integration Patterns
• Experience with Data Governance
• Metadata Management expertise
• Data Lineage knowledge
• Data Contracts understanding
• Experience managing technical delivery risks
• Technical leadership experience
• Vendor management experience
• Proven Database Architecture experience
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles Ideal Candidate A contingent who has already implemented or architected a Clinical Data Platform / Clinical Data Layer within a pharmaceutical company. The ideal profile would be a: Clinical Data Platform Architect with experience combining:
• Clinical Data domain knowledge
• Azure Data Platform Architecture
• Databricks expertise
• Governance and Data Lineage implementation Nice to Have
• Pharmaceutical / Clinical Research experience
• Clinical Data Platform Architecture background
• CDISC knowledge
• Experience within GxP environments
• Clinical Data governance expertise The manager considers Clinical Data domain expertise a strong differentiator, but for this role it is preferred rather than an absolute blocking requirement if the technical expertise is exceptional
