Job Description
The IT Coordinator ensures the company’s digital and IT operations are secure, efficient, scalable, and aligned with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and company-wide compliance objectives. This role bridges infrastructure, IT support, software strategy, and information security controls. It supports all teams across the business, manages IT vendors, and keeps the company’s digital stack fit-for-purpose and future-proof. The role reports to the VP of Legal & Risk. This is a hands-on, stand-alone role that requires a high level of autonomy, with ownership of day-to-day IT operations and the continuous improvement of the company’s IT environment. The role does not include people management responsibilities and will operate independently as the company’s main IT point of contact. This role is based in Belgium. As this is a hands-on IT role supporting the organization and its employees, regular presence in the office is expected. Up to 2 days of home working per week is possible in accordance with the company’s applicable home office policy.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Operations & Support
• Deliver reliable, responsive IT support across the organization (hardware, accounts, connectivity, onboarding/offboarding)
• Maintain ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes (incident, problem, change management)
• Manage endpoint security, backup & recovery systems, and device lifecycle (MDM/EDR tools)
• Maintain a centralized asset and configuration management system 2. Security & Compliance
• Support the VP of Legal & Risk in ensuring compliance with the Information Security Management System (ISMS
- ISO 27001/NIS2, SOC2, and other Information Security frameworks)
• Execute IT tasks required by the DPO and legal for data privacy (data retention, access logs, audits) 3. IT Governance & Vendor Management
• Maintain documentation on system architecture, access rights, and IT policy compliance
• Manage contracts and performance of IT vendors, including cloud service providers, software tools, and MSPs
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and SaaS risk assessments 4. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Serve as IT point of contact for Nobi
• Provide onboarding/offboarding IT support and access configuration
• Train non-technical employees on safe, compliant use of digital tools What you bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years in IT administration, digital infrastructure or systems management
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, endpoint protection, backup solutions, SaaS management
• Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills Preferred skills
• Experience working with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR compliance environments
• Experience in startup/scale-up or highly regulated environments (MedTech, FinTech)
