MISSION As Sales Manager, you will contribute to strengthening IBA Radiopharma Solutions’ international market presence and developing new business opportunities. Reporting directly to the VP Sales, you will engage with customers to understand their scientific, technical, operational, and business needs and translate those needs into tailored solutions.   Your advanced knowledge of radiochemistry will enable you to establish credibility with scientific and technical stakeholders, understand complex customer applications, and conduct meaningful discussions around radiopharmaceutical production.   Depending on your background, you will either:
* Leverage your existing sales experience to develop business in a highly technical radiopharmaceutical environment.
* Build on your radiochemistry expertise to progressively develop your commercial capabilities and transition into a customer-facing sales role.   Your primary objective will be to identify and develop new opportunities, expand IBA’s customer base, secure new contracts, and contribute to increasing market share through a proactive, consultative, and opportunity-driven approach. * Identify potential customers, applications, and untapped markets within the radiopharmaceutical ecosystem.
* Build and manage a qualified pipeline of opportunities aligned with IBA’s commercial strategy.
* Use your technical knowledge to uncover customer challenges and identify where IBA’s solutions can create value.   Engage and advise customers
* Develop relationships with hospitals, radiopharmacies, nuclear medicine departments, research centers, and industrial partners.
* Engage with scientific, technical, operational, and business stakeholders to understand their environment, projects, and challenges.
* Act as a trusted partner by combining scientific expertise, active listening, and customer orientation.   Translate scientific needs into business opportunities
* Connect customer needs with IBA’s technologies and solutions.
* Explain complex scientific and technical information clearly and effectively.
* Convert customer challenges into sustainable business opportunities.   Acquire new customers
* Prospect, qualify, and engage new customers.
* Lead opportunities from first contact through proposal, negotiation, and contract signature.
* Develop long-term customer relationships while growing IBA’s market presence.   Prepare technical and commercial offers
* Coordinate the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
* Support public and private tenders in collaboration with internal experts.
* Ensure proposed solutions meet customer scientific, operational, and commercial requirements.    Build long-term partnerships
* Establish credibility and trust with customers.
* Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities to expand IBA’s footprint within customer organizations.    Represent IBA externally
* Represent IBA during customer meetings, scientific conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
* Promote IBA’s value proposition and strengthen its visibility within the radiopharmaceutical market.   Collaborate across functions
* Work closely with sales, scientific, technical, applications, project, service, and marketing teams.
* Bring together the right expertise to support customers and drive business success.   Manage opportunities effectively
* Maintain accurate commercial information and forecasts.
* Follow agreed sales processes and ensure effective opportunity management. WHAT WE VALUE You have: Education
* Master's degree or PhD in Radiochemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
* Advanced knowledge of radiochemistry and a strong understanding of radiopharmaceutical production processes.
* Knowledge of radiopharmacy, nuclear medicine, radioisotope production, or targeted radionuclide therapies is considered a strong asset.    Professional experience We welcome candidates from two complementary backgrounds:
* Commercial profile
* Experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles within radiopharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare technologies, nuclear medicine, or related scientific industries.
* Proven ability to identify opportunities, build customer relationships, negotiate agreements, and drive business growth.
* Scientific profile
* Significant hands-on experience in radiochemistry, radiopharmaceutical development, radioisotope production, process development, manufacturing, quality, or laboratory environments.
* Strong interest in transitioning towards a commercial and customer-facing role.
* Motivation to develop expertise in business development, opportunity management, and consultative selling. Previous sales experience is an asset but is not mandatory for candidates with strong radiochemistry expertise who can demonstrate a genuine interest in customer engagement, business development, and relationship building. Technical expertise remains a key requirement for success in this role.   Communication

COMPENSATION PACKAGE   The total guaranteed annual compensation range (which includes annual base salary, as well as flexible budget if applicable, and car budget in specific locations) for this position is provided below:   Total gross guaranteed annual compensation range: 62900 €
- 95500 €   The salary range indicated above is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects the typical compensation scope for this position based on the role's level of responsibility, required expertise, and location. The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender-neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidate's profile. The role might also qualify for additional compensation elements such as variable pay, profit sharing, and benefits which are not reflected in this range.
