Role Purpose Within AXA OPEX – Process Digit, the Business Analyst (BA) contributes to the simplification, automation, and digitalization of end‑to‑end (E2E) operational processes. Working in a one‑team model with Business, Product Owners, and Delivery teams, the BA ensures that business needs are clearly understood, translated into high‑quality requirements, and delivered through Agile and compliant digital solutions. The role is key in enabling Straight‑Through Processing (STP), improving operational efficiency, and supporting AXA’s digital transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Process Analysis Capture and analyze business needs in close collaboration with OPS business representatives. Understand and document AS‑IS processes and design TO‑BE processes aligned with Process Digit principles. Identify pain points, simplification opportunities, and automation potential. Ensure processes are designed to maximize STP, reduce manual interventions, and improve user experience and broker and client experience. Challenge business requirements constructively to promote simplification, automation, and compliance. 2. Requirements & Documentation Write clear, structured, and complete requirements in the Process Design Document (PDD). Ensure requirements cover: Functional needs Business rules Exceptions and risks Compliance constraints (e.g. GDPR where applicable) Facilitate discussions on requirements with: Business stakeholders Upstream teams IT and delivery teams Validate requirements with the Product Owner. 3. Agile Delivery Contribution Participate actively in Slice & Dice sessions to structure the solution. Create Features and User Stories in Rally, including clear acceptance criteria to follow Agile methodology. Organize and support the kick‑off of development meeting with delivery teams. Provide ongoing functional clarification during development sprints. Attend sprint demos and validate delivered functionalities. Accept User Stories in Rally once validated by the business. 4. Testing & UAT Coordination Define and create business‑oriented test scenarios. Organize and support UAT kick‑off meetings. Coordinate and follow up UAT execution with the Test Lead and business users. Analyze UAT results and support resolution of defects. Contribute to GO / NO‑GO decisions with business and Process Digit stakeholders. 5. Post‑Implementation Ensure the business performs sanity checks after production deployment. Verify that communication, change, and training aspects are correctly addressed. Collaboration & Governance The Business Analyst works in close collaboration with: OPS Business Representatives Product Owner Head of Product Owners Process Digit Management Scrum Master Delivery & Development Teams Test Lead OPS Business Support The BA respects AXA Agile methodology, governance, and Process Digit standards throughout the delivery lifecycle. Key Competencies & Skills 1. Functional & Analytical More than 3 years of experience in business analysis and process modeling Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements Strong focus on process simplification and automation Good understanding of STP principles and digital operations 2. Delivery & Ways of Working Experience working in Agile environments Strong communication and facilitation skills Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization Structured, pragmatic, and solution‑oriented mindset 3. Tools & Documentation Experience with: PDD documentation Rally (Features, User Stories, acceptance) UAT coordination and test scenario design Knowledge of BPMS / digital workflow solutions is an asset 4. Success Criteria at AXA High‑quality, validated requirements with minimal rework Strong contribution to simplification, automation, and digitization Smooth collaboration between Business, Process Digit, and Delivery teams Successful delivery aligned with AXA governance and OPS objectives 5.
