The Legal & Insurance Department at our headquarters in Brussels is looking for a Insurance Administrator (m/f/x).
Job purpose
As Insurance Administrator, you will play a key role in keeping Fluxys Group's insurance portfolio up to date. You will closely follow up on insurance policies from an administrative perspective, working with colleagues and external partners in a dynamic and future-oriented environment
Your responsibilities
You will work closely with your immediate superior, the Senior Insurance Officer, within the Legal & Insurance team. You will actively contribute to the management of Fluxys Group's insurance policies in an international and evolving context
Your role will primarily involve the administrative follow-up of the group's insurance portfolio, more specifically the preparation and processing of European tenders and policy renewals and the management of different types of insurances. You will pay close attention to international shareholdings and new projects linked to the energy transition
You will also support the Senior Insurance Officer regarding the technical aspects of insurance in connection with Mergers & Acquisitions projects and other specific initiatives, including, if necessary, obligations linked to due diligence. You will help implement compliance procedures on taking out and renewing insurance for our international entities
You will analyse and monitor certain claims on occasion
When performing these tasks, you will be in regular contact with internal and external clients and will work in a collaborative, demanding and solution-oriented environment
About you
You hold a bachelor's degree in insurance or law or have at least two years' experience in the insurance sector, within an accredited insurance company or brokerage firm
You enjoy teamwork and collaborate easily with colleagues from various disciplines as well as with internal and external clients
You possess excellent communication skills and can defend points of view both diplomatically and assertively
You are fluent in French, Dutch and English, enabling you to thrive in an international environment
You are also willing to travel occasionally, both in Belgium and abroad
