We are looking for an R&D and Pharmacovigilance Quality Cross-Regional Integration Lead who is strategic, collaborative, and confident navigating complexity to join our Global Quality, Research & Development and Pharmacovigilance Quality organization, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.
About the role
You will act as a strategic partner to the Head of R&D and Pharmacovigilance Quality, turning regional Quality intelligence, regulatory developments, and cross-regional insights into clear recommendations and action plans. You will help translate our global Quality strategy into consistent execution across regions while strengthening regulatory compliance, patient safety, data integrity, and inspection readiness. Through your global perspective, you will identify emerging risks and opportunities, connect regional teams, and support senior decision-making in a complex and evolving external environment. Who you will work with You will work closely with global, regional, and local Quality teams, as well as colleagues across Research & Development, Patient Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Legal, Procurement, and Quality Systems. You will also collaborate with affiliates, vendors, external partners, and Health Authorities. Together, you will align priorities, share regional learnings, strengthen Quality capabilities, and promote consistent, risk-based ways of working across geographies. What you will do Â
· You will translate global Quality priorities into actionable cross-regional plans, milestones, accountabilities, and measurable outcomes Â
· You will provide strategic recommendations on emerging risks, regulatory developments, resource needs, and Quality capability priorities Â
· You will be promoting compliance, patient safety, data integrity, and quality by design Â
· You will lead or support inspection preparation, responses, and follow-up activities involving Health Authorities and external partners Â
· You will connect global, regional, and local teams to strengthen governance, accountability, shared standards, and coordinated decision-making Â
· You will transform Quality intelligence and analytics into strategic insights, decision papers, and preventive action plans Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and

· You have significant experience in Quality leadership within Research & Development, Patient Safety, Clinical Development, or other regulated healthcare environments Â
· You understand global regulatory requirements and their practical impact on Quality oversight and operating models Â
· You bring strong experience in inspections, audits, investigations, issue resolution, and CAPA management Â
· You apply strategic judgment and risk-based thinking to complex, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving situations Â
· You communicate effectively and influence stakeholders across functions, cultures, organizational levels, and external organizations Â
· You leverage Quality intelligence, data analytics, and emerging technologies to strengthen oversight, decision-making, and continuous improvement Internal applicants should be in their current job for at least 12 months, must meet performance standards and are not on formal corrective/disciplinary process (PIP), warning, final warning, or compliance warning letters within the last 12 months.
