Fincons is looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect – Advanced
TASKS:
• Experience in cloud architecture, solution design, and migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of cloud operations, infrastructure optimization, and performance management.
• Expertise in FinOps, including cloud cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and optimization.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance (GDPR, Zero Trust, RBAC).
• Hands-on experience with automation, monitoring, logging, observability, and incident response.
• Ability to support and collaborate with development teams on cloud-based applications.
• Experience with cloud landing zones, governance frameworks, and operational best practices.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning (RTO/RPO).
• Strong documentation skills and ability to provide cloud expertise to technical and business stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OVH) and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Expertise in Python and Java development, with hands-on experience in cloud-native solutions.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, optimization, and BI tools (Grafana, Kibana, Tableau).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools (GitLab, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeCommit).
• Experience with cloud database services and data engineering tools, including Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with advanced cloud services, such as AI/ML, analytics, serverless architectures, and enterprise SaaS platforms. CERTIFICATES: (Mandatory) One of the following or an equivalent certification: PM², Project Management Professional (PMP), or PRINCE2.
SKILLS:
• Ability to diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Flexibility to adopt emerging cloud services, frameworks, and tools quickly.
• Competence in managing multiple cloud initiatives, resources, and environments.
• Ability to evaluate options, design cost-effective architectures, and align with organizational goals.
• Commitment to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimization in deployments.
• Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
• Capacity to build trust and influence decision-making.
• Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously. Results-oriented mindset, focused on delivering. Language knowledge: English B2+ Office: Brussels (Belgium), far-site service provision with possible onsite presence as deemed necessary during the execution of specific contract.
