* Provide professional and technical contribution to the design, development and execution ofdeployable communications engineering projects.
* Work in a DevOps environment — continuous integration, change flowing continuously, automated deployment and monitoring in place.
* Backing the junior members of the team across incident, service request and problem management as the seniorengineer and ultimate problem solver.
* Provide engineering support to plan and execute approved exercises, on site or remotely.
* Document the designs and implementations of the services you own, plus troubleshootingguides.
* Plan, schedule, participate in and lead technical support teams for projects andexercises.
* Give on-the-job training to keep the support capability sharp.
* Deputise for higher-grade staff when required. What we are looking for
* A bachelor's degree from a recognised university in a related discipline plus two years ofrelevant experience — or, in place of the degree, demonstrable ability and experience of realinterest in this field.
* Deployable or field communications infrastructure experience.
* Genuine DevOps practice: automation, monitoring, continuous change.
* The seniority to lead a support team through an exercise and be the final escalation. The role is full time on site in Mons, Belgium, from the end of September to the end ofDecember 2026.
