Position Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly specialized Robotics Infrastructure Architect & Systems Engineer to join our advanced R&D project funded at HKSTP. This role is highly technical and requires a rare combination of lower-level native hardware programming and multi-tier system topology design. The successful candidate will design low-latency distributed frameworks, real-time data streaming layers, and custom native asynchronous modules to bypass traditional single-threaded runtime constraints on mobile/robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities
• At least 3-years of experience in related field.
• Advanced Multi-Agent Frameworks: Architect and engineer complex, event-driven, low-latency multi-agent distributed frameworks syncing humanoid robotic platforms (such as Unitree G1 Edu) with advanced conversational robots (such as Furhat) for paired vocal-motor agentic behaviours.
• VR Teleoperation & Spatial Pipelines: Design and build high-dimensional spatial trajectory data pipelines using ROS2 and Python to securely log human operator inputs into structured datasets for behavioral cloning.
• Low-Level Control & Hardware SDKs: Program, calibrate, and maintain real-time spatial movement, joint execution, and high-frequency sensor ingestion control nodes utilizing custom C++ and native Humanoid SDKs.
• Data Governance & System Topology: Act as the primary technical anchor establishing code governance boundaries, defining system API endpoints, and configuring relational/non-relational database schema partitions (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis). Key Requirements & Qualifications
• Education Masters/ Bachelors in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a closely related quantitative technical field.
• Niche Technical Expertise: Proven academic or research track record in designing low-latency streaming architectures, multi-agent synchronization, and database sharding topologies.
• Robotics & Hardware Control: Expert-level command of ROS/ROS2, Unitree G1 Humanoid SDK, Furhat Robot SDK, spatial joint calibration, and real-time sensor execution.
• Core Languages: Advanced proficiency in C++ (specifically for hardware nodes and OOP) and Python.
• Full-Stack & Mobile Architecture: Demonstrable experience with React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, and creating custom open-source native bridge modules to bypass mobile environment constraints.
• Infrastructure & Security: Extensive experience with Linux server deployments, Docker containers, WebSockets (Socket.io), WebRTC, and End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) data streaming.
• Language: Professional working proficiency in English.
