Social Media Marketing Internship

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING INTERNSHIP MUTANI is an Antwerp-based fashion startup creating premium apparel inspired by gaming culture, developed in partnership with gaming and anime publishers. We don't create traditional merchandise or cosplay. Instead, we translate iconic digital worlds into contemporary fashion that people can wear every day. WHAT'S THE JOB? MUTANI is on the lookout for a Social Media Marketing intern to join our small startup team. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating scroll-stopping content just as much as understanding why it performs. You'll combine content creation, editing and graphic design with growth marketing and social media analytics, helping us build and grow an engaged online community. Content Creation & Editing Create engaging social media content (photo, video and graphic) across Instagram, TikTok and other platforms Produce short-form video content from concept to edit, tailored to maximise engagement Design graphics and visual assets aligned with MUTANI's brand identity Write engaging copy for social media captions, campaigns and marketing materials Social Media Management & Growth Plan, schedule and manage our social media accounts Apply growth marketing tactics to increase followers, reach and engagement Research platform trends, formats and best practices to keep content fresh Interact with and grow our online gaming and fashion community Analytics & Optimisation Track and analyse social media performance and KPIs Use data to inform what content to create next and refine our content strategy Report on campaign and content performance, translating numbers into actionable recommendations Support running and analysing paid social experiments (a plus, not required) WHO ARE YOU? Skilled in content creation: photo, video and graphic design Proficient in photo, design and video editing software, and comfortable filming with a smartphone and/or camera Curious about the numbers behind content, and enjoys understanding what performs and why (a growth marketing or analytics background is a strong plus) Experience with social media advertising is a plus Passionate about gaming, fashion or pop culture Visual and creative thinker, tapped into current aesthetics and subcultures Comfortable managing and growing an online community Excellent written communication skills in English with a quirky pen Independent, self-motivated and organised Located in Belgium, able to work from our Antwerp office part-time for a minimum period of 6 weeks Studying or experienced in areas such as marketing, communications, media studies or graphic design. A voluntary internship is also possible
