Company Description STEM United International is a mission-driven organization focused on expanding access to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education and opportunities worldwide. The organization collaborates with educators, professionals, and community partners to support learners from diverse backgrounds and promote inclusive STEM pathways. Volunteers contribute to projects that may include educational content development, mentoring, outreach, and program support. STEM United International values collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to equity in STEM fields, offering volunteers a chance to make a meaningful impact while developing their own skills. Role Description This is a full-time remote Volunteer role supporting STEM education and outreach initiatives. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with virtual events and workshops, helping coordinate online programs, and supporting communication with learners, educators, and partners. Volunteers may contribute to developing or reviewing educational materials, organizing resources, and maintaining accurate documentation and records. The role also involves participating in virtual meetings, collaborating with team members across time zones, and proactively identifying ways to improve processes and learner engagement. While the position is unpaid, volunteers gain practical experience in a global STEM-focused environment and contribute to impactful educational work. Qualifications Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English and collaborate effectively in virtual teams. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a remote setting. Comfort with digital tools and platforms (such as video conferencing, shared documents, and project management tools). Interest in STEM education, outreach, or community engagement, with a commitment to inclusive and equitable practices. Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior volunteer, tutoring, mentoring, or program coordination experience is beneficial but not required. Access to a reliable internet connection and a computer suitable for remote work.
