Requirements
Language: English + French/Dutch
· Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and AWS EKS, with GitOps-based delivery
· Virtual machines, storage accounts, networking and firewalling
· PaaS databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL) and managed data services
· Landing zones, identity and access management, and secrets management
· Observability and monitoring (Datadog) All infrastructure is managed with a DevOps and platform-engineering mindset. Everything is code in Git and deployed through pipelines (Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub), with no manual changes in production. Your main
responsibilities:
Architecture and design: translate requirements into the right cloud solution together with the team and architects, with a PaaS-over-IaaS, managed-services-first mindset. Infrastructure as Code: develop, version and maintain Terraform modules and landing-zone components, and run deployments through reviewed, automated pipelines. Kubernetes and GitOps: operate AKS/EKS clusters and maintain GitOps delivery (ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize), including upgrades, scaling and workload onboarding. CI/CD and developer enablement: maintain reusable pipelines and templates (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) so the paved road is the easiest road for application teams. Security and compliance: continuously improve the security posture and implement GDPR and ENGIE Group requirements. This covers least privilege, workload identity and federation instead of static credentials, private networking, customer-managed keys, policy-as-code, and vulnerability and endpoint-protection rollout. Observability and reliability: define and maintain monitoring, logging, SLOs and alerting (Datadog), and take part in incident response and post-incident improvements. FinOps and efficiency: follow new platform features, right-size resources and drive cost optimisation. Automation and support: troubleshoot connectivity, performance and access issues, and automate repetitive operations (scripts, pipelines, Azure Functions). Responsible AI-assisted engineering: use AI coding assistants to speed up delivery, while review, testing and security accountability stay with the engineer. Knowledge sharing: document designs and runbooks, and coach colleagues and application teams.
