Expert IAM

Our client is seeking an experienced architecture professional to support complex technology and business environments within a public-sector context. This opportunity is suited to someone who combines broad architectural expertise with deep specialization in at least one domain, strong modelling capability, and a solid understanding of project delivery and business processes. Responsibilities In this role, you will contribute to architectural design and guidance across multiple technology and business domains. You will be expected to operate with a broad view of the landscape while providing specialist input where needed.
• Design and support architecture work across areas such as infrastructure, application landscape, security, data, and process.
• Apply specialist knowledge in at least one domain, such as networking, security, server infrastructure, application architecture, ERP, ECM platforms, data warehousing, or BI.
• Work with stakeholders in a public-sector environment.
• Support coordination and planning activities linked to delivery and implementation. Technical Skills
• Strong experience as an IT architect, enterprise architect, infrastructure architect, or solution architect.
• Proven expertise in Identity and Access Management.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
• Experience with Azure Cloud.
• Experience with ITSM tooling.
• Knowledge and practical use of modelling techniques such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, UML, and Sparx EA.
• Broad understanding of all architecture domains, combined with specialist depth in at least one area. Profile
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience as an IT architect.
• At least 8 years of experience as a specialist architect or enterprise architect.
• Strong understanding of business processes in general.
• Good grasp of project management aspects, including cost, timing, coordination, planning, and estimation.
• Ability to work across disciplines and translate complex requirements into clear architectural direction.
• Experience in a public administration or government environment is considered an advantage. Practical Information
• Language requirement: fluent Dutch at CEFR level C2.
• This is a long-term consulting opportunity.
• The assignment may be extended in mutual agreement in periods of 12 months, within the framework of the applicable master agreement.
