• Banking & cash. Accounts, online-banking access and approvals, periodic bank KYC reviews, time deposits, payments; the bank's day-to-day contact.
• Corporate entities. Keep the HK, Cayman, and BVI entities in good standing: company-secretarial and regulatory filings, corporate-services liaison.
• Investor administration. Onboarding and KYC with the administrator, chasing documents, tracking subscriptions, and investor tax and statement queries.
• Fund governance. Board materials, board and audit cycles, and coordination with auditors, administrator, and directors.
• Service providers & expenses. Vendor relationships and fee negotiation, prompt invoice settlement, bookkeeping inputs, expense claims, and filing.
• One-off projects. Own ad-hoc problems end to end — e.g. a cross-border contractor engagement or a provider switch — researching options, weighing risks, and executing. Who we're looking for Legally allowed to work in, and based in, Hong Kong
• Adjacent financial-industry experience is a must, non-negotiable — for example fund or asset management, accounting or audit, trading, investment banking, brokerage, fund administration, or fund legal — with the maturity and judgment to deal with banks, lawyers, and investors
• A solid grasp of basic accounting concepts and basic math capabilities
• Strong problem-solving, critical and logical thinking, and attention to detail
• Genuine fluency with AI — you use it to work through unfamiliar problems and can tell when it's wrong
• Strong written and spoken English Terms Part-time, contract basis, flexible hours, remote within Hong Kong with in-person tasks as needed. HK$500 per hour. Workload is variable. Most work is not urgent; replying within 36 hours is generally enough.
