Company Description Studio Roel Heremans is a production company dedicated to supporting the work of transdigital artist Roel Heremans. The studio focuses on creating and producing innovative, interdisciplinary art projects that combine digital media with other artistic forms. Team members collaborate closely with the artist to bring concepts to life, from development to presentation. The studio environment values creativity, experimentation, and professional growth for emerging arts professionals. Role Description The Studio Assistant internship is an on-site role based in Sint-Gillis, supporting the daily operations of Studio Roel Heremans. The intern will assist with organizing and maintaining studio materials, preparing spaces and equipment for art productions, and helping with documentation tasks such as basic photography and project archiving. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating communication, assisting with visitor and customer inquiries, conducting research related to ongoing and upcoming projects, and providing general administrative support. The role offers hands-on experience in contemporary art production and studio management, with opportunities to learn directly from the artist and production team. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with collaborators, visitors, and partners.
• Candidates should possess Photography skills for documenting artworks, studio processes, and events.
• Candidates should possess Research skills to support project development, concept exploration, and production planning.
• Candidates should possess an interest in Art and transdigital practices, with a willingness to engage in creative processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing studio materials and schedules.
• Ability to work on-site in Sint-Gillis and collaborate effectively in a small team environment.
• Basic proficiency with digital tools (email, document creation, file management); familiarity with image or video editing software is a plus.
• Previous experience or education in visual arts, media arts, or related fields is beneficial but not required.
