We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a dynamic data and knowledge management environment where data is transformed into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, policy monitoring, and business intelligence initiatives. In this role, you will work at the intersection of data analytics, business analysis, and reporting, helping stakeholders make informed decisions through data-driven solutions.
What will you do?
• Analyse business, policy, and operational needs to support data-driven decision-making and monitoring activities.
• Gather and document business requirements and contribute to the identification and implementation of data processing and business intelligence solutions.
• Participate in the design and improvement of analytical processes by translating best practices into practical solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualisation tools that provide clear access to key business metrics and insights.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Apply statistical methods and analytical techniques to support monitoring, evaluation, and performance assessment activities.
• Create and maintain business analysis documentation, process models, analysis reports, and functional specifications.
• Analyse interactions between business processes, data management activities, and supporting digital solutions.
• Identify, collect, transform, structure, and analyse data from multiple sources for reporting and analytical purposes.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through evidence-based analysis and reporting. What are we looking for?
• Master's degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business analysis, information systems, or related IT environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English or French (minimum B2 level).
• Strong knowledge of data analysis, data management, and business intelligence concepts.
• Experience collecting, processing, structuring, and analysing data from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or similar solutions.
• Understanding of business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process modelling, user stories, and use cases.
• Experience working with collaboration and documentation platforms such as Confluence and SharePoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience translating business needs into practical analytical and reporting solutions.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English or French (minimum B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
- CEFR)
• Ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
