Position Description The CCH Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Child Care Home (CCH), ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading the team to deliver excellent, trauma-informed child care services. In addition to this core operational role, the Manager supports the Director in advancing strategic and programmatic goals across Early Intervention Services (EIS) and training platforms including Family Academy and Community Education. The Manager monitors KPIs, contributes to quarterly reporting, and works closely with frontline teams to uphold child
- and youth-centered care standards. The Manager must reflect the vision, mission, and values of Mother's Choice and be deeply committed to child protection and championing every child grows up in a safe, loving, and permanent family. Job Responsibilities CCH Operations and Service Delivery (Primary Responsibility) Lead and oversee all daily operations of the Child Care Home, ensuring safe, trauma-informed, and child-centered care with full regulatory compliance. Serve as the primary point of contact for CCH operational matters, including staff management, resident welfare, guest and visitor hospitality, and day-to-day service delivery. Strategic Support and Program Development Support the Director in delivering strategic, operational, and programmatic goals across CCH and related services including EIS. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and standardized models to ensure program quality, consistency, and sustainability. Training, Capacity Building and Community Education Coordinate internal training and assist in developing train-the-trainer resources in support of the Family Academy. Contribute to Community Education initiatives that share best practices with external partners and the wider community. Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Track KPIs across program areas, support performance management, and contribute to accurate quarterly reporting. Collaborate with IT and data teams to maintain effective systems for service tracking and outcome measurement. Team Leadership and Development Coach, mentor, and develop staff while supporting succession planning. Foster a collaborative, mission-driven team culture aligned with the values of Mother's Choice. Stakeholder Engagement and Sector Collaboration Coach, mentor, and develop staff while supporting succession planning. Compliance, Risk and Quality Assurance Ensure operations comply with Social Welfare Department and all relevant regulatory requirements. Responsible for resource management, budget oversight, and continuous process improvement to enhance service quality and sustainability. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as education, public health, allied health, nonprofit management or a related discipline; Postgraduate qualifications in public health, education, business, or social policy are an advantage Candidates from diverse backgrounds, such as business, law, public policy, IT, finance, or social impact, are encouraged to apply if they demonstrate a strong commitment to child well-being and a willingness to learn 10 years of relevant experience with minimum 5 years in a management capacity Strong leadership, organizational management, problem solving and crisis management skills Planning and project management skills Experience in training, capacity building, or curriculum development is an asset Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and with diverse stakeholders Excellent interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese Ability to think critically, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs Values-driven, ethical, and committed to continuous learning and professional growth Must share the commitment of Mother’s Choice in upholding the safety and protection of children as paramount.
