Kai Tak office Employment Duration: 6-month contract Responsibilities
• Prepare financial accounting and reporting of a group of companies, including period-end closing, journal entries, account analysis and related reporting
• Prepare statutory accounts, supporting schedules, and reporting packages to holding company
• Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis and periodic management reports
• Coordinate invoicing, payments, funding requirements and cash flow forecasts, and prepared related schedules
• Support accounting and reporting matters arising from joint venture operations, interacting with relevant teams and counterparts to resolve discrepancies/ issues
• Assist in handling accounting, audit and tax related matters, including preparation of supporting information where required
• Ensure compliance with relevant CLP accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
• Provide support on other ad-hoc assignments Requirements
• A recognized university Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
• Professional qualification of a recognized accountancy body is preferred
• At least 3 years’ relevant hands-on working experience in accounting, preferably in an ERP environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Proficiency in Oracle will be an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Detail oriented
• Articulate and able to communicate with colleagues to obtain clarification or resolve issues
