AI Engineer Consultant

You will join Avertim as a consultant and contribute to client projects where your expertise and ability to deliver concrete results make a real difference. Your role You will design, build and implement AI solutions that address concrete challenges for our Energy & Transport clients. Working with business experts, data professionals and software teams, you will help move relevant use cases from exploration and proof of concept towards reliable operational solutions. As an AI Engineer, you will develop solutions involving predictive models, optimisation, intelligent automation, computer vision, natural language processing and generative AI. Your responsibilities
• Engage stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify relevant AI opportunities.
• Assess data availability, quality, feasibility, value and implementation constraints.
• Prepare, explore and transform data for model development and experimentation.
• Design, train, evaluate and improve Machine Learning or AI models.
• Build prototypes and proofs of concept and help translate them into scalable AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, architects and domain experts.
• Integrate models and AI services into applications, platforms and operational processes.
• Set up appropriate testing, monitoring, documentation and lifecycle management practices.
• Consider security, privacy, explainability, responsible AI and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate results, limitations and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your profile
• You hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• You have professional experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science or software engineering.
• You understand the end-to-end lifecycle from experimentation to integration and operational use.
• You have strong programming, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• You can collaborate with business stakeholders and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with cloud, MLOps, generative AI or modern data platforms is an asset.
• Interest in Energy, Utilities, Transport, Mobility or industrial applications is strongly valued.
