Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Transformation Lead with 8+ years of experience to bridge the gap between business strategy and technology execution. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, translating high-level business goals into scalable data solutions that deliver tangible outcomes—including driving OKRs, reducing costs, and boosting productivity. You will lead data transformation initiatives from concept to execution, bringing strong business acumen, a solid understanding of the data lifecycle, and exceptional storytelling ability to articulate how data solves complex business pain points.

Key Responsibilities
• Business & Tech Bridge: Translate business strategies into data-driven initiatives; shape data propositions to achieve core business OKRs, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Solution Shaping: Identify and analyze business pain points with empathy, structuring practical data solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Stakeholder Management & Storytelling: Articulate complex data concepts and solutions through compelling presentations and storytelling to C-suite and senior business leaders.
• Data Lifecycle Alignment: Oversee end-to-end data value flows, maintaining a clear high-level understanding of data movement from systems of record to business intelligence and analytics consumption.
• Program Leadership: Drive large-scale data transformation initiatives, supporting organizational integration or platform modernization efforts where applicable. Must-Haves Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:
8+ years of total professional experience, with direct exposure to the Banking or Insurance sectors.
• Language: Fluency in Cantonese (spoken and written) and English is mandatory.

Skills:
Outstanding business analysis skills, strategic problem-solving, and a proven track record in solution shaping.
• Communication: Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities with strong business empathy.
• Data Architecture Awareness: Good high-level understanding of the complete data lifecycle (Systems of Record $ ightarrow$ Ingestion $ ightarrow$ Processing $ ightarrow$ Analytics/Consumption). Nice-to-Haves
• Management or technology consulting background.
• Direct experience with merger & acquisition (M&A) programs and/or data platform migrations.
• Hands-on technical background in data engineering, data governance, or analytics.
