About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and globally-minded Agent Development Specialist​ to join our dynamic global team. This role is pivotal in expanding our global footprint by managing, developing, and optimizing relationships with our overseas agents. She or he will act as the primary bridge between HLS and international partners, ensuring seamless communication, competitive pricing, and the execution of our global trade strategies. Location Shanghai / Hong Kong / any other city Travel Required Yes, 1-2 times per year

Key Responsibilities
Agent Relationship Management & Business Development Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned overseas agents, building and maintaining strong, long-term business relationships. Collaborate closely with the Trade Manager to develop and execute strategies aimed at increasing business volume and market share within the assigned agent network. Conduct regular online conference calls with overseas agents to review business performance, address challenges, and identify new opportunities. Pricing, Quotation, and RFQ Management Handle all incoming inquiries (multiple port pairs), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Bidding/Tender requests from overseas agents. Manage and negotiate short-term and long-term pricing requirements to ensure competitiveness and profitability. Proactively source and coordinate rate requests to meet the specific needs of the agent network. Performance Tracking & KPI Achievement Monitor and track the business volume and key accounts of assigned overseas agents on a regular basis. Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring all company KPIs and targets are met or exceeded. Cross-Functional Coordination & SOP Implementation Facilitate effective communication and workflow coordination between overseas agents and internal departments/offices (e.g., Operations, Pricing, Sales). Collect, organize, and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key agent accounts. Disseminate SOPs to relevant internal stakeholders and ensure strict adherence to these guidelines to maintain service quality. Travel & Market Presence Undertake 1-2 international business trips per year to visit overseas agents, conduct face-to-face meetings, and strengthen partnerships. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade, with a proven track record in agent management or business development. Skills & Competencies Language Proficiency:​ Good written and verbal communication skills in English Business Acumen:​ Strong understanding of international trade, freight forwarding operations, and pricing mechanisms. Communication:​ Good interpersonal and coordination skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders across different time zones and cultures. Tech Savvy:​ Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with CRM systems. Mindset:​ Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
