Brussels, Belgium 📆 Duration: Long-term assignment – 660 man-days 🏡 Remote policy: 3 days remote per week 🌐 Languages: Dutch or French (mandatory) and English (mandatory) We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect for a challenging assignment focused on infrastructure architecture, database technologies, high availability and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and validate end-to-end infrastructure solutions across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and architectural design initiatives.
• Design and maintain database architectures, including migrations, High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
• Work with Oracle, SQL Server (on-premises), Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Design scalable and resilient hyperconverged infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure best practices in enterprise storage, backup, restore and data protection.
• Deliver clear and comprehensive architectural documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on architecture, risks and project deliverables. Required Profile
• Strong experience in infrastructure solution architecture, including on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
• Extensive expertise in database architecture, migrations, HA and disaster recovery.
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure, enterprise storage and data protection.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• A proactive mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Fluency in Dutch or French, combined with a good command of English.
