Kwai Chung Contract period: 2-year (renewable) Duties We are looking for an energetic and innovative engineering professional to join our Contracting Business Department. Responsible for the following major duties: Provide safety and quality services to management, employees and contractors Monitor site safety and quality performance, identify deficiencies, and work closely with contractors to implement timely corrective and preventive actions for management review. Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of SHEQ programmes in accordance with the latest legislation and the company’s SHEQ requirements. Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to employees and contractors as required. Attend urgent site meetings outside normal
working hours
to handle safety issues of the project work if required. Perform night shift duties as required, including conducting safety briefings, site inspections, and monitoring high-risk activities. Requirements Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in the field of Engineering or Safety disciplines or equivalent plus at least 2 years’ safety related working experience OR Ordinary Diploma / Ordinary Certificate in relevant disciplines or equivalent plus at least 4 years’ safety related working experience Holder of a valid Safety Supervisor Certificate A recognized training in industrial safety or first aider would be an added advantage Familiar with the safety requirements of CLP Power (CLPP) and Distribution Substation is preferred Working experience in CLPP projects would be an added advantage Possession of a Construction Industry Safety Card Possession of a valid Driving License Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower positions
