About the role
We are looking for a Java/Angular Full Stack Developer to join a long-term project with a public sector organisation in Brussels. You will design, develop and maintain both the back-end and front-end of business-critical applications, contributing to the digitalisation of services in an Agile/Scrum environment. 📍
Location:
Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site in Brussels, 3 days remote ⏱️ Start: ASAP 📅 Duration: Long-term 💼 Contract Type: Freelance / B2B (independent contractor) 🌍 Languages: Dutch and/or French + English
Key responsibilities
• Develop new functionalities and resolve bugs
• Write automated tests and perform code reviews
• Maintain technical documentation and support software releases
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies Profile & skills
• Back-end: Strong knowledge of Java (17+), Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, SQL databases
• Front-end: Experience with modern frameworks, preferably Angular
• Architecture & integration: REST APIs and microservices; event-driven architecture (Kafka/MQ) is a plus
• Tooling & DevOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Maven/Gradle, basic Docker/Kubernetes
• Soft
skills:
Analytical, proactive, team-oriented, quick to master a new functional domain
• Languages: Dutch and/or French + English
