About Hauzen LLP
Hauzen LLP is a specialist Hong Kong law firm advising financial market participants across fintech, financial services, cryptocurrency, and technology. Our lawyers have advised on cryptocurrency regulation since 2014 and operate the most comprehensive fintech and digital-asset regulatory and disputes practice in Hong Kong. Our lawyers are globally recognised — alumni of the world's top-tier firms and direct C-suite practitioners from Fortune 500 companies — and are consistently ranked by Chambers Global, Legal 500, IFLR1000, and Asian Legal Business.
We work in association with AnJie Broad Law Firm and maintain alliances with DWF, Winglobal, Aliant+, and IR Global, giving our clients comprehensive cross-border coverage. Our practice spans SFC licensing and compliance, regulatory investigations, white-collar defence, crypto and tokenisation matters, and insolvency — in both the Hong Kong and Singapore markets.
We are pragmatic and effective. We want our people to have opinions, because our business depends on the judgment and thinking of our team.
The Role
This is a full-time, on-site solicitor position in our Financial Services & Fintech Disputes team, based in Hong Kong. You will handle client-facing legal matters at the intersection of financial regulation and disputes — the space where our practice is strongest.
Your work will include:
• Advising fintech, digital-asset, and traditional financial-services clients on regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and Singapore
• Handling advisory engagements, regulatory investigations, disputes, and white-collar criminal matters — including in the Web3 and crypto sectors
• Drafting and negotiating regulatory and commercial documentation
• Representing clients in financial and regulatory disputes, including litigation, arbitration and enforcement proceedings
• Supporting clients through licensing applications, SFC investigations, and compliance matters
• Contributing to a team that values intellectual rigour, creative problem-solving, and forward-thinking approaches to regulatory change Strong analytical skills are essential, experience in litigation is preferred. You will be expected to work across the full spectrum of a matter: from advisory engagements, regulatory investigations through to court or arbitration, or to a negotiated resolution. What We are Looking For Essential:
• Qualified Solicitor in Hong Kong
• Strong practical experience in financial-services disputes and regulatory investigations
• Experience in litigation — you are comfortable in adversarial settings and can think on your feet
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
• Genuine comfort with technology — including a working understanding of AI tools in legal practice, and the willingness to use them well
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin Strongly preferred:
• Cross-border or transnational experience — particularly across HK, Singapore, and Mainland China
• Prior experience in financial regulation, fintech, or crypto-related disputes
• Experience working in an interdisciplinary, technology-literate team
• A track record of building client relationships in a boutique, high-trust environment Why Join Us
• Specialist practice, not a generalist firm — you will be deep in the work from day one
• Real client access and a meaningful caseload from the start; no years of support work before you are trusted with matters
• A team that values independent judgment — we want lawyers who have opinions and are prepared to defend them
• Genuine cross-border exposure across HK, Singapore and other jurisdictions globally
• A firm that treats technology and AI as serious practice tools, not as a trend
• A culture of learning and thoughtful dialogue — in a firm where your contribution is visible and your voice matters
How to Apply
• Send your CV, a short covering letter, and academic transcripts to the recruitment team at hr@hauzen.hk. All applications will be treated in strict confidence.
