Private Equity Internship at Sofindev

During our 6‑month internship, you’ll work side‑by‑side with an experienced investment team, dive into real
cases, and get exposure to every step of the PE investment cycle. No observers

- can contribute and grow. What you’ll be doing As an intern, you’re part of the investment team with involved in day‑to‑day deal flow and portfolio work. You’ll get real responsibility and coaching where needed. Expect to learn fast and contribute meaningfully. You’ll work on:
• Deep‑diving into markets and screening interesting sectors.
• Analyzing competitors and business models.
• Identifying potential add‑on opportunities for our portfolio companies.
• Supporting valuations and financial modelling.
• Supporting the management team of our portfolio companies.
Your profile
We welcome motivated interns who are eager to learn and contribute to our team. At Sofindev, we value different perspectives and encourage all talented candidates to apply. The qualities below help you succeed in our analytical, entrepreneurial and low‑hierarchy environment:
• You are currently completing or have recently completed a master’s degree with a strong analytical and financial focus. A first internship or work experience in e.g. M&A is a plus.
• You have a strong academic and/or extracurricular track record.
• You are fluent in Dutch and have strong professional English; French is an asset.
• You have an analytical mindset, natural curiosity and a proactive attitude.
• You can structure and interpret market, business and financial information accurately.
• You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• You bring energy, ownership and a positive mindset.
• You communicate clearly, work well with others, and enjoy a hands‑on environment. Our offer
• A Sofindev internship lasts six months and offers a hands‑on learning experience within our investment team.
• You can apply year-round; we review applications on a rolling basis and reach out to strong candidates as they come in.
• You join under a BIS contract and receive a competitive internship compensation.
• More importantly, you enter an environment where you actively learn, contribute and grow, working closely with our investment professionals and with entrepreneurs from our portfolio companies.
