· Digital communications: modulation, coding, spectral efficiency, ideally some exposure to DVB-S2/S2X
· Understanding of link budgets (G/T, EIRP, C/N, rain fade)
· Working knowledge of an RF chain: up/down conversion, LO and phase noise
· Ability to write and flow down requirements, and to manage interfaces (ICDs)
· Comfortable coordinating with several teams and external suppliers, with a pragmatic, hands-on attitude Nice to have
· Space or satellite payload experience
· Familiarity with high-speed data converters and/or FPGA-based digital architectures
· Exposure to ground segment and gateways or ACM operation
· Lab experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzer, etc)
· Python or MATLAB for analysis As part of this opportunity, you will work as a Dekimo consultant at one of our clients’ sites, while receiving support and guidance from our teams.
