Your mission :
The first mission will be to bring a direct support to the stress leaders for all the engineering works linked on R&T and/or certification of metallic and/or composite structures.
Within a team of approximatively 15 stress engineers, his/her main activities will be :
In collaboration with test department, definition, & follow-up of tests
The validation / check of reports sections related to:
Metallic & composite parts calculations (static, fatigue)
Interpretation of Test results and correlations
Implementation of the certification authorities comments, and writing the additional paper work required by the authorities
Integration of the report sub-sections into one single coherent document and ensuring that all certification requirements are adequately addressed within the analyses that have been performed.
Some typical examples of tasks that are usually performed are provided below :
Learn/use/develop calculations methods and tools either through either analytical or numerical means.
Analysis of aeronautical structures, proposing solutions to problems encountered.
Results summary presented to the engineering leader, writing files / reports / calculation technical notes
Participation to internal meetings / reviews, Interacting directly with other departments but also direct contact with the customer.
Your Profile
Master’s degree in mechanical / Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent) Minimum 8 years of experience in structural analysis of aircraft structures Technical
Skills:
Deep knowledge and understanding of structural analysis methodologies (metallic and composite materials) Good knowledge of Finite Element Modelling Good knowledge in F&DT. Important Soft
skills:
Attention to detail, Rigour, Setting priorities, Speaking and writing clearly, Teamwork, Synthesizing, Judgement, Flexibility Creativity Tools: Knowledge in one or more of these would be an asset : SAMCEF and/or NASTRAN, CATIA V5, Microsoft tools, Linux,… Language: Good level in English is mandatory (spoken & written)
