The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (hereunder as ‘HKSR’) is a pioneer in rehabilitation dedicated to providing holistic and personalized services to empower persons with disabilities, chronic illnesses or challenges of aging to lead fulfilling lives, and to advocate for an inclusive society. "The HKSR Jockey Club Geriatric Rejuvenation Hub" is a service unit of the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation at MacLehose Rehabilitation Center in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong Island. With funding from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, the " The HKSR Jockey Club Geriatric Rejuvenation Hub " has begun to provide one-stop inter-professional rehabilitation services since January 2022, providing rehabilitation short-term accommodation plans, intensive care services for middle-aged and elderly patients with stroke or orthopedic disease day rehabilitation training, and provides accommodation for patients with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
• To handle all aspects of facilities and project management, renovation, additional and alteration (A&A) projects, general administration and other duties as assigned;
• To coordinate and supervise service providers, contractors etc. to ensure quality service and works;
• To prepare specifications, drawings, quotation invitation, analysis, evaluation and recommendation;
• To perform investigation on building and building services defects, and identify preventive and corrective measures;
• To carry out inspections, monitor work progress, ensure works are statutory compliance including health and safety work practices;
• To liaise and work closely with internal and external parties (various stakeholders) such as inter-departments, consultants, contractors, suppliers, utility companies, Government bodies, and end-users, etc. in order to resolve necessary operational issues. Requirements
• Higher Diploma/Associate Degree or above in Building Surveying or related disciplines;
• At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in project management, renovation projects, A&A works are highly preferred, candidates with less experience will also be considered;
• Familiar with relevant regulations, procedures, standards, and codes of practice;
• Ability to work independently, self-initiative, responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn;
• Proficiency in computer literacy, relevant skills and experience on AutoCAD will be a definite asset. The successful candidate will normally be appointed on contract terms. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service/operational needs of the department and the candidate’s performance.
