Responsibilities The PMC ACC Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting project controls, cost management and commercial teams across large-scale data centre projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, validating, analysing and presenting project performance data to support informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail and the ability to transform complex datasets into actionable insights for project stakeholders. Data Analysis & Reporting
• Gather, validate and analyse cost, schedule and resource data from multiple project systems.
• Develop and maintain project dashboards and KPI reports.
• Generate weekly and monthly performance reports for project leadership and client stakeholders.
• Monitor project trends, identify variances and highlight risks or opportunities.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across reporting tools and platforms. Cost & Commercial Support
• Support cost control activities through budget tracking and expenditure analysis.
• Assist in forecasting project costs and cash flow requirements.
• Analyse earned value, commitments, actual costs and projected final costs.
• Support change management and variation tracking processes.
• Provide commercial insights to support project decision-making. Project Controls Support
• Work closely with Project Controls, Cost Management and Project Management teams.
• Track key project performance indicators including schedule, productivity and cost metrics.
• Assist in the preparation of executive-level reporting packs.
• Support risk analysis through data-driven assessments and trend reporting. Systems & Process Improvement
• Maintain and improve reporting tools, databases and dashboards.
• Automate repetitive reporting activities where possible.
• Contribute to the development of data governance and reporting standards.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project controls and reporting processes. Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance or equivalent.
• Experience in project controls, cost management, commercial management or data analytics within major capital projects.
• Strong understanding of project cost reporting and performance measurement.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Power Query, Pivot Tables and complex formulas.
• Experience with Power BI and dashboard development.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project environment. Desirable
• Experience on Data Centre, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Infrastructure or EPC/EPCM projects.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6, Deltek Cobra, SAP or similar project controls systems.
• Familiarity with construction cost management and project forecasting methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or other data analytics tools. Personal Attributes
