Key Responsibilities
• Define, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide data governance frameworks.
• Drive data quality initiatives and ensure adherence to governance standards.
• Manage and enhance data lineage, metadata management, business glossaries, and data dictionaries.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to improve data ownership and stewardship practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data management policies.
• Support regulatory, risk, and finance reporting through robust data controls.
• Facilitate governance committees, working groups, and stakeholder engagements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data governance processes and methodologies. Required Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of Data Quality, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, and Data Stewardship.
• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and data management standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Nice to Have
• Exposure to GDPR, BCBS 239, or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with API governance, business glossary tools, or metadata solutions.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 and enterprise data management practices.
