Brussels, Brussels-Capital, Belgique Avanade Temps plein
Description An internship on the Avanade Agentic Engineering Factory: a team building reusable GitHub Copilot assets and the secure Azure execution environments that custom agents need. You build and validate the platform those agents run on. We are thrilled to announce an exciting internship opportunity for students passionate about cloud platforms and AI-assisted engineering using Microsoft technologies. This internship offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience designing and operating Azure environments that host a realistic demonstration application, and to help build the reusable Copilot assets that outlive the internship. As an intern, you will join a multidisciplinary team of 2 to 4 students. You will provision and operate Azure environments from sandbox to demo using Terraform or Bicep and GitHub Actions, design reusable infrastructure modules for Azure Container Apps, networking and identity, and automate deployment, security scanning and environment cleanup. A key proof of concept is to evaluate Azure Container Apps Dynamic Sessions and ACA Sandboxes for secure, isolated execution of custom agents and agent-generated code. You will investigate ephemeral execution, custom container sessions, network controls, managed identities, lifecycle management and observability. A central focus of the assignment is GitHub Copilot agentic development: using Copilot, custom Copilot agents and agentic workflows daily, and helping define how infrastructure teams adopt them safely, with least-privilege permissions, auditability and human approval at the right points. Join us in this dynamic and supportive environment where your creativity and skills will be valued. Make a real impact and gain invaluable experience that will set you apart in your career journey. Come join us Join our dynamic Apps & Infra department and collaborate with experienced professionals to develop innovative solutions that address real-world business challenges faced by Avanade and its customers. You will work on analyzing requirements, designing, coding, testing and operating your solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the development process, from ideation to delivery. Additionally, you will create technical and functional documentation to highlight the capabilities and use cases of the infrastructure and automation you develop, and conduct demo presentations to demonstrate your work. 2-4 students, one multidisciplinary team 4 months February to June 7 engineering supply chains, you own the platform Don't miss this exciting opportunity to develop your skills, advance your career and be part of an innovative and impactful organization. Apply now and embark on a rewarding journey with us Qualifications Skills and experiences STRONG PREFERENCE Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience is strongly preferred. Comparable hands-on experience with AWS or Google Cloud may be accepted, provided you are motivated to transfer those skills to Azure quickly. ■ Hands-on cloud

experience:
building and deploying resources yourself, preferably on Azure, such as application hosting, containers, storage, identity and networking.
• Deployed at least one end-to-end cloud project, not only followed tutorials
• Azure portal and Az CLI experience are a strong advantage ■ Provisioning cloud resources with Terraform or Bicep, including reusable modules, variables or parameters, state management where applicable, and environment-specific configuration. ■ Containers and container platforms: Docker fundamentals and an interest in Azure Container Apps, Dynamic Sessions and ACA Sandboxes. ■ Azure networking fundamentals: VNets, subnets, private endpoints, DNS and firewall rules. ■ Cloud security basics: managed identities, Key Vault, RBAC and least privileged access. ■ CI/CD technologies such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or YAML pipelines. ■ Scripting and automation with Bash, PowerShell or Python. ■ Git-based workflows and pull-request collaboration on GitHub. ■ Interest in AI-assisted engineering: curious about GitHub Copilot, coding agents and agentic workflows. No prior agentic experience is required; you will learn it here. About You ■ Academic pursuit: currently enrolled in a computer science or related program at a college or university. ■ You are passionate about cloud platforms, automation and technological innovation. ■ You have excellent communication skills and are able to work effectively in an international environment (English, French and/or Flemish).

What You'll Do
• Build the platform. Provision and operate the Azure environments (sandbox to demo) that host the demonstration application and custom-agent workloads, using Terraform or Bicep and GitHub Actions.
• Prototype secure agent execution. Evaluate Azure Container Apps Dynamic Sessions and ACA Sandboxes for isolated execution of custom agents and agent-generated code, including network controls, managed identities and lifecycle management.
• Design reusable infrastructure. Create Terraform or Bicep modules and infrastructure patterns for Azure Container Apps, networking, identity and environment lifecycle that other Avanade teams can adopt.
• Automate the factory. Create GitHub Actions workflows for deployment, environment promotion, security scanning and cleanup.
• Apply agentic development. Use GitHub Copilot, Copilot custom agents and agentic workflows daily, and help define how infrastructure teams adopt them safely, with least-privilege agent permissions and audit trails.
• Contribute Copilot assets. Co-author Copilot instructions, skills and agents for the Infrastructure & Platform supply chain.
• Document and demo. Write technical and functional documentation, and present demos to Avanade stakeholders. KEY TAKEAWAY You own the platform supply chain of the factory: the environments, the modules and the automation the whole team depends on. Learn more Duration: 4 months, starting February
