Participate in the development and customization of applications on the ServiceNow platform. Learn how to configure forms, workflows, business rules and automations. Develop and maintain features using JavaScript and ServiceNow development best practices. Support the integration of ServiceNow with third-party applications through REST and SOAP APIs. Assist in troubleshooting, debugging and resolving technical issues. Participate in system upgrades, testing and deployments. Contribute to improving business processes through automation. Collaborate with consultants and customers to understand functional requirements. Document developments, technical solutions and best practices. Continuously learn new technologies and complete the ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Informatics, Software Engineering or equivalent through experience. Passionate about software development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of JavaScript. Good understanding of HTML and CSS. Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles. Familiarity with relational databases and SQL. Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs. Basic understanding of Git or other version control systems. Good communication skills in English and Dutch and/or French. Curious, eager to learn and motivated to become a ServiceNow Developer. Team player with a proactive mindset. Knowledge of Java, C#, Python, PHP or Node.js. Experience with React, Angular or Vue.js. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with Linux or Windows environments. Personal, academic or internship projects. Knowledge of generative AI tools and prompting techniques, or willingness to develop expertise in leveraging AI for software development and IT operations.
