A skilled and compassionate coach to provide individualized support to students in mathematics and sciences, while also building essential executive functioning skills. Working with students up to Grade 12, the coach will design and deliver tailored instruction that addresses both academic gaps and the underlying organizational, planning, and self-regulation challenges that impact learning.
Responsibilities
• Provide one-to-one or small-group instruction in math and science aligned with each student's grade level, IEP, or learning plan.
• Assess individual strengths and challenges to develop personalized learning and support strategies.
• Explicitly teach executive functioning skills, including time management, organization, task initiation, working memory strategies, planning, and self-monitoring.
• Adapt materials, pacing, and instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning profiles (e.g., ADHD, autism, dyslexia, processing disorders).
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure consistency and alignment of support.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular feedback to families and stakeholders.
• Foster student confidence, independence, and self-advocacy. Qualifications Teacher Registration in Hong Kong, SCRC, prior teaching experience in an international school, Masters Degree
