• Elicit, analyse, validate and document business and functional requirements.
• Analyse and model business processes and workflows; identify optimisation opportunities.
• Prepare functional specifications and support application evolution and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain office-automation and database-driven business applications.
• Design automated electronic forms, multi-step validation workflows and routing mechanisms.
• Design and maintain data-exchange interfaces with other information systems.
• Provide application support, access-rights management, parameterisation and release-impact analysis.
• Manage document/records solutions and ownership/access of shared resources.
• Support data extraction, consolidation, reporting, organisational restructuring and service continuity.
• Facilitate workshops, support testing/UAT, prepare documentation and provide user training.
• Coordinate planning and progress reporting for small and medium-sized projects. SENIORITY
REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify for this position, the consultant must have:
• University degree corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework (which typically corresponds to a bachelor’s level or 3 years of higher education).
• Minimum 17 years of IT professional experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge &
Skills:
• At least 4 years of professional experience performing business analysis activities.
• At least 10 years in requirements gathering and functional analysis of business applications.
• At least 10 years in business process and workflow analysis and modelling.
• At least 10 years in defining and maintaining application/solution architecture in an administrative environment.
• At least 15 years in application development and maintenance, including office-automation development such as VBA.
• At least 10 years with relational database management systems and SQL.
• At least 5 years designing automated forms and validation workflows for multiple user categories. () IMPORTANT :
• Open to candidates able to work near-site in Brussels, with regular on-site presence 1 day per week.
• Minimum level B2 in English and French, both spoken and written.

• Estimated start: 15 December 2026 (indicative).
