The Assignment
• Develop 2D and 3D COMSOL multiphysics models.
• Implement temperature-dependent material properties and physics-based thermal models to accurately predict device performance.
• Contribute to design decisions and technology development by providing simulation-based insights for next-generation sample preparation.
• Explore AI-driven modelling workflows. Required Knowledge and Skills
• At least a Master's degree (PhD is preferred) in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, or physics). An Engineering degree is more desirable than a pure scientific one.
• Multiphysics modelling and simulation (COMSOL or equivalent).
• Thermal, electro-thermal, and MEMS device design expertise.
• Experimental validation, data analysis, and model correlation.
• Understanding of microfabrication processes and device physics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary R&D teams.
