About The Business
Deloitte's Regulatory & Financial Risk practice helps financial institutions strengthen their risk management capabilities, navigate regulatory change, and enhance governance, capital, and risk frameworks. Our Financial Risk Management team advises banks, virtual banks, securities firms, asset managers, insurers, and fintechs on a broad range of risk and regulatory matters, including credit risk, treasury risk, asset liability management (ALM), capital management, market risk, counterparty credit risk, liquidity risk, stress testing, ICAAP, recovery and resolution planning, and regulatory compliance.
We are seeking high-performing professionals with experience across financial risk and prudential risk management disciplines who are interested in helping clients address complex business, risk, and regulatory challenges.

Work you'll do Financial Risk Advisory
• Advise clients on the design, enhancement, and implementation of financial risk management frameworks, policies, governance structures, and operating models.
• Conduct reviews and gap assessments of risk management practices against regulatory requirements and industry leading practices.
• Support clients in strengthening risk governance, risk appetite frameworks, management reporting, and control environments.
• Assist clients in responding to regulatory developments, supervisory reviews, and remediation programs.
• Areas of focus may include
• Credit Risk, Capital & Prudential Risk Management: risk management, wholesale and retail credit risk framework and modelling, risk-weighted asset (RWA) calculation, capital adequacy framework, and regulatory capital reporting
• Market & Counterparty Credit Risk: market risk, counterparty credit risk (CCR), collateral management, margining, exposure measurement and valuation controls etc.
• Treasury & Balance Sheet Risk Management: treasury governance, asset liability
- management (ALM), liquidity risk, funding risk, interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB), funds transfer pricing (FTP) framework, etc.
• Broader Risk Management: recovery planning, resolution planning and resolvability assessments; climate risk management and stress testing; risk related system advisory and implementation support. Project Delivery & Business Development
• Manage project workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Prepare proposals, reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
• Build and maintain effective client relationships across risk, treasury, finance, compliance, and business functions.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of Deloitte's Financial Risk Management practice. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience from Financial Risk Advisory / Financial Institutions / Regulatory Authorities or Supervisory Bodies, in one or more of the following areas:
• Credit Risk Management
• RWA and Regulatory Capital Frameworks
• ICAAP, Capital Planning, and Stress Testing
• Treasury Risk and ALM
• Liquidity Risk and IRRBB
• Market Risk Management
• Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), Collateral Management, and XVA
• Recovery & Resolution Planning
• Risk Analytics, Modelling, Reporting and Quantitative Assessment
• Strong understanding of financial services risk management frameworks and regulatory expectations, such HKMA and SFC requirements and Basel frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability and willingness to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ideal to have professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, PRM, CPA, or equivalent.
• Native language skills in both English and Chinese will be an advantage.
