Company Description AoTI | Airports of Tomorrow Innovations is an airport consultancy that combines planning expertise, advanced simulation, and algorithm research to support airport development and operational decision-making. The team focuses on traffic forecasting, capacity analysis, and master planning across airside, terminal, and landside environments. AoTI builds detailed models of aircraft movements, passenger flows, and ground traffic to evaluate layouts, identify bottlenecks, and compare operational alternatives. The company also develops algorithms for resource allocation, scheduling, and operational optimization. AoTI collaborates closely with engineering consultancies, architectural practices, and EPC teams through specialist studies, joint bids, and technical partnerships. Role Description The Aviation Simulation & Data Analyst is a full-time, hybrid role based in Hong Kong SAR, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves building, maintaining, and validating simulation models of airport operations, including aircraft movements, passenger flows, and landside traffic. The analyst will collect, clean, and analyze operational and planning data, generate statistical insights, and translate findings into clear recommendations for airport layout, capacity, and process improvements. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and running scenarios, preparing visual and written reports, supporting algorithm development for resource allocation and scheduling, and collaborating with internal team members and external partners. The analyst will participate in client meetings, contribute to technical proposals, and help refine AoTI’s methodologies and tools. Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analytics and data modeling.
• Solid grounding in statistics, including experimental design, inference, and probabilistic modeling.
• Clear and effective communication skills for presenting complex technical findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant tools such as Python, R, or similar analytics languages, and experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
• Experience with simulation or optimization tools (e.g., discrete-event simulation, agent-based modeling, or operations research packages) is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, data science, mathematics, statistics, transportation, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in hybrid teams, manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving client needs.
• Background or strong interest in aviation, airport planning, or transportation systems is an advantage.
