Key responsibilities
• Design and evolve secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures, including landing zones, networking, governance and access management.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub or equivalent tools, with integrated testing, quality gates and security scanning.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation, including governance policies, configuration management and drift detection.
• Apply cloud security best practices covering IAM, secrets management, network security, software supply-chain integrity and compliance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, incident management and disaster recovery practices to improve system reliability and availability.
• Lead cloud migrations, platform upgrades, application deployments and technical modernisation initiatives.
• Optimise cloud infrastructure costs through rightsizing, resource management, budgeting and FinOps practices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams, establish reusable platform standards, and document architectures and operational procedures. Essential profile
• Extensive professional IT experience and a strong background in cloud architecture and enterprise systems.
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture, security, networking and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Practical experience with Docker, AWS CDK, ECS, ECR and automated deployment pipelines.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud governance, monitoring and operational reliability.
• Experience designing secure, scalable and cost-efficient cloud solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, advise stakeholders and work independently in an international team. Additional expertiseExperience with AWS Control Tower, AWS Config, Security Lake, CDK-NAG, Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch, WebLogic, Oracle, WildFly, PostgreSQL, Amazon Q or AWS Kiro is relevant to the assignment, subject to the applicable mandatory selection criteria. French language skills are an advantage.
